All imported media files reside strictly within the sandboxed local storage of your iOS device (FileManager.default.urls(for: .documentDirectory, in: .userDomainMask)). We operate zero proprietary cloud storage servers, zero external photo repositories, and zero machine learning image-processing pipelines.

2. Cryptographic Security & Local Authentication

Your secret albums are protected using hardware-accelerated AES-256-GCM encryption. Biometric verification (Face ID / Touch ID) is processed entirely by Apple's on-device Secure Enclave via the LocalAuthentication framework. Your biometric authentication data is never accessible to the app or transmitted over any network.

3. Third-Party Analytics & Network Activity

To maintain app stability and verify App Store subscription transactions, the app utilizes minimal, anonymized operational telemetry (RevenueCat for StoreKit receipt validation and Firebase for crash reporting). These services collect zero photo metadata, zero file names, zero album contents, and zero location coordinates.

4. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

Because all media is stored locally on your iPhone, you maintain total ownership and physical custody of your files. Deleting an item inside Hide Pictures Videos permanently destroys the local file binary. Deleting the application from your device erases all sandboxed media instantly without residual copies existing anywhere.
